GRAPE GIFTS AVOID - Magic Chain Wine Bottle Holder


I ordered x2 Magic Wine Bottle holders via Groupon, and have yet to receive them, despite assurances from Groupn that they will be despatched and delivered by 31st January..
AVOID GRAPE GIFTS - DO NOT BUY from this company. I have emailed and phoned to no avail. Groupon not being overly helpful with this matter either.
DO NOT BUY. x3 30minute telephone calls with no answer, and various unanswered emails. GROUPON SHAME ON YOU for not doing anything more about this. Apart from 'form filling' for'lost' items, you have done absolutely nothing and yet I bought via YOU in good faith... DO NOT BUY FROM GRAPE GIFTS EVER. Groupon, my views to your Customer Service have changed

I am also still waiting for wine holder since January.
so angry. My first time using Groupon

I absolutely agree! I am furious. My story is 'slightly' different. I ordered 1 x magic bottle holder online after buying the voucher through Groupon.
I entered my personal details before entering my voucher codes from Groupon but my laptop ran out of power before I had entered my card details to pay for the £2.50 postage.
A few days later, I decided to try again except it showed on the Graoe Gifts website that my voucher had already been redeemed. I phoned them straight away (0843 number!) and was on hold for over 20 mins before I selected the option to leave a message for them to call me back. I then called Groupon who confirmed that according to their systems the vouchers had been redeemed. I explained I had never completed my order and the lady I spoke to said it was probably showing as a 'partial' order and that I should try emailing them.
At this stage, all I wanted to was pay the postage to complete my order. Two weeks on, several emails to Grape Gifts (unanswered) several messages for them to call me, several calls where I was left holding for over half an hour before having to hang up and 'form filling' via the Grape Gifts website and I still have not heard a peep out of them. All I have had back was an automated email from Grape Gifts about delayed Christmas orders and apologising for their poor customer service (they are not wrong). I have even emailed them telling them that despite the fact that my contact didn't start ot as a complaint but their lack of response had made me feel the need to turn this into a complaint and that I would now be going to Trading Standards to report their poor customer service and that there are rules in place for companies dealing with customer complaints, still nothing. Absolutely apalling. Out of desperation, I phoned Groupon, I told them that since Grape Gifts were not responding that some responsibility should lie with them also since they were who I had bought the voucher from. I reminded them that by being in partnership with Grape Gifts, it was a poor reflection on them too and likely to ruin their own reputation. The lady I spoke to told me she would pass my comments and complaint on to a manager. Two days later, a lady called Zoe emailed me saying 'sorry I had not received my order and that I needed to contact Grape Gifts directly'..... um???!!! pardon??!!! have you been listening to a word I have been saying Groupon?. I told you, I 'HAVE' tried to contact Grape Gifts directly and I can't get through, that's why I called YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!.
So anyway, now 3 weeks on, I have missed the expiry date for the offer to be completed which was 6th Feb through no fault of my own therefore have lost my money. Grape Gifts do not care, Groupon do not care. I am annoyed and have lost faith in Groupon despite using them for lot's of offers and deals. Even more so, I am appalled at the APPALLING customer service (or lack of) offered by Grape Gifts. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM & avoid using GROUPON too becuase if you have any problem whatsoever with the companies that they work with, Groupon don't want to know. They are clearly only interested in the commission tey must be earning from these companies to advertise their products. The wine holder was a gift to go with some champagne for my friends special birthday but does anyone care?? no.
Really annoyed and disappointed and not prepared to sit back and do nothing. Customer care in this country used to mean something but too many companies out there now just don't care anymore. Staff have no or very little training in dealing with annoyed customers and generally don't have the right understanding attitude that they should. Speaking to a supervisor used to get results but not anymore.
